MINISTRY OF WORKS AND FIRE SERRVICE LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN ON FIRE SAFETY AND CONTROL In a bid to stem the alarming rate of incessant cases of fire outbreak across Akwa Ibom State, the Ministry of Works and Fire Service has launched a media campaign tagged ‘Be Safety Conscious, Fire Outbreak is Preventable’. The launch of the campaign followed a pledge made by the Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Professor Eno Ibanga last week when he announced via a radio programme that his ministry would sensitize the public on the need to adhere to safety measures that could ameliorate or reduce the rate of fire outbreaks across the state to the barest minimum.
